What does Quintessential do?
Quintessential is a digital product agency based in Athens. Since 2018, we have designed and built software for startups and established organisations with a presence in more than five countries. We work across three areas: Product Development, AI Implementation, and dedicated Team Extension.
How does a project with Quintessential start?
Working with Quintessential always starts with a genuine conversation. We want to hear all about your idea, the problems you are facing (or are afraid you will face), or any prototype you might already have. We will talk you through our way of working, identify your needs, agree on what discovery looks like, and then come back with a defined scope and offer. No commitment is required to have that first call.
Can Quintessential take over an existing product or codebase?
Yes. We regularly inherit existing products, audit the codebase and design, and pick up development from there. We begin with a technical and product review so both sides understand what is solid, what needs refactoring, and what it will cost to move forward
What is included in 360 product development?
Everything from research to a shipped product: product discovery, product design (UI & UX), front-end and back-end engineering, QA testing, launch and post-launch support. Our Quintessential team consists of experts in all those fields who act as your one accountable partner, no coordination overhead between vendors.
How is Team Extension different from a staffing agency or freelancers?
We provide vetted engineers, designers and product specialists who embed directly into your team. Our people come from one team that has shipped products together, with our engineering standards and internal support behind them. If someone is out or moves on, we cover continuity rather than leaving you to re-hire.
Does Quintessential handle international clients?
Our team works from our offices in Petralona, Athens, and our portfolio consists of companies across Greece, North America, the UK, the UAE and Spain including Avante Security, National Bank of Greece, PPC Blue and more. We work and partner with whoever has a bold idea and needs an experienced team to handle strategy, execution and support.
Does Quintessential work with early-stage startups?
Since 2018, Quintessential has helped many founders who came to us only with an idea in mind. We then helped give it proper shape and form, and eventually launched it as a working digital product. We are always encouraging new ideas and product innovations.
What happens after the product launches?
Launch is not the end of our engagement. We offer ongoing support, maintenance, monitoring and iteration through a post-launch agreement, and we stay available for new feature phases. Many of our clients, including Avante Security and PPC Blue, have worked with us across several years and product versions.
