APP DESIGN, APP DEVELOPMENT
Building the app for Europe's biggest wellness festival
BeWell is Greece's fastest-growing wellness ecosystem, founded by Christina Boba and Sakis Tanimanidis. What started as a podcast and a running club has grown into BeWell Festival, now officially the largest fitness & wellness festival in Europe, drawing over 20,000 visitors in 2026 across two days at OAKA. We were brought on to design and build the official festival app from the ground up on a tight deadline, ahead of a two-day event spanning 25+ zones, hundreds of talents, and tens of thousands of attendees.
Wellness
The brief
The BeWell festival 2026 by Allwyn has expanded and grown to its biggest edition yet with a full-scale wellbeing world of stages, workshops, recovery spaces, kids’ and pet activities etc, with the organisers needing one thing to hold it all together: An app that could guide thousands of people through the chaos of a live, 2-day, 25 zone event without any friction.

The core challenge
The sheer scale of the festival made navigation our core design challenge. Attendees needed to move fluidly between the BeWell Stage, the Allwyn Challenge Field, the Fitness Lab, workshops, and recovery zones—often deciding what to do next in real time.

We worked around the clock
We built the app's identity around BeWell's own visual language: clean, energetic, and calming in equal measure, so the product felt like a natural extension of the brand rather than a bolted-on utility. We compressed a process that would normally span months into weeks: mapping the entire festival footprint, structuring content for dozens of talents and activities, designing the UI, and building it all in React Native on a single codebase, shipping simultaneously to iOS and Android, for a stable, production-ready app.
The numbers behind it
The app shipped clean and stayed that way: 100% crash-free across every active user on both days and platforms. With no direct store links and only light promotion, it picked up 501 organic downloads. Once inside, people didn't browse, they planned: 7,052 session views, 2,495 interests picked, and nearly 1,500 saved sessions, driving 8.5 minutes of average engagement per user at peak.A week later, 32% of that cohort was still active, proof this was never just a weekend tool. The app closed its first phase at a 5/5 App Store rating and Top 8 in Health & Fitness in Greece, with eleven upgrades already mapped for the next release.
