Back in January, we shipped yet another product in collaboration with Up Hellas: FlexOne, the all-in-one employee benefits card. Designed to replace the Go-For-Eat card and every other benefit card that came with it, FlexOne gives employees a single, seamless way to access and manage all their workplace perks. No more wallet full of plastic, no more switching between apps.
Managing employee benefits used to mean managing multiple cards. One for meals, one for gifts, one for fuel. Employees had no unified view of their spending, and the experience felt fragmented at every turn. A company would have to issue separate cards per benefit category and keep track of all of them.
FlexOne was built to change that, consolidating everything into one card, one app, one place. So we were called to design and build the mobile app and the employer-facing management platform.
We co-designed and developed the FlexOne mobile app, the product employees interact with every day. At its core, it consolidates all benefit categories into a single interface: Meal, Fitness, Wellness, Childcare, Gift, Fuel, and more—all easily switchable without ever leaving the app. A built-in portfolio selector lets users choose which balance to charge before each transaction, while an upcoming merchant-viewing feature is currently in development. We also made virtual and physical card displays, a social send feature between colleagues, and full dark and light mode support to round out an experience that feels as good as it works.
On the transparency side, employees always know exactly where their money is going. A filterable transaction history breaks down every purchase by benefit category and status, accepted or declined, giving users a clear, honest view of their spending. We also integrated the ability to view not only the cost of each transaction but also a digital copy of the receipt, keeping all expenses organized in one place.
The result is an app that doesn't just function as a digital wallet but it puts employees genuinely in control of their benefits, all from one place.
Alongside the mobile app, we also co-designed the employer-facing admin panel: a custom platform built to simplify the administration and oversight of employee benefits. Designed with usability at its core, it gives HR managers and employers a clear, centralized space to manage their workforce's benefits efficiently — reducing administrative overhead and improving the overall employee experience.
The dashboard gives employers a real-time view of benefit usage and distribution across their workforce. From monitoring which benefits are most utilized to quick view the number of card types, available funds even employee insights, everything is built into one operational view.
Employers can drill down into specific benefit categories, filter by department or eligibility, and ensure each team member has access to the right benefits based on their role and card number. Bulk actions like 'Pay Now' and card ordering make it easy to manage large teams while keeping enrollment statuses accurate and up-to-date. Through the platform, admins can also switch membership plans, top up company funds, and view invoices, making FlexOne a seamless, all-in-one management solution.
